What is the operation system requirement?
PSP Falcon requires Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista. Windows x64 is supported since v2.1.2.

How to connect the PSP to the computer?
You can connect the PSP to your computer with the USB cable that it came with and put the PSP into USB mode. Press the HOME button located on the bottom left of your PSP, and then scroll left to the SETTINGS column. Scroll down to USB CONNECTION and press X. The Memory Stick inside your PSP will now mount on your computer.

How to connect the PSP without a cable?
If you have a computer that integrated a Memory Stick reader, i.e., Sony VAIO laptop, you can take the Memory Stick out of the PSP from the left side, and insert it into the corresponding slot of your computer. You may need a Memory Stick Duo Adaptor for a Memory Stick Pro slot.

Why my other device was detected as Memory Stick?
Removable devices look the same from a computer's sight. PSP Falcon can identify the PSP while it's connected via USB cable, but not other connection mode. For a compatible reason, all devices that may be a PSP are listed.

What version of the PSP firmware is supported by PSP Falcon?
Any version is supported. But the fact is that the different video format limits on different firmware version. The newer version updated, the better compatible performed. So we suggest you to update your PSP to the last version. If your firmware version is older than 3.30 and you do not want an update, go check the "Transfer to MP_ROOT" in "Settings", to switch PSP Falcon work into version 1.50 mode. Remember, there is a lot strict limit on video files in MP_ROOT, and your video may not be played.

What is Corrupted/Unsupported Data on the PSP?
That means your video file is incompatible with PSP. Make sure your video files are located in VIDEO directory, and your PSP version is the newest. If the problem goes on, you need a video converter to re-encode your video file.

Can PSP Falcon convert video files for the PSP?
No. PSP Falcon fixes thumbnails only. There are lots of video converting tools over the Internet.

Why did PSP Falcon fail to create thumbnail for some video file?
Some of the video files fell short of specifications. If they can be played on PSP, contact us please.
